LAL currently offers an extensive range of subjects to learners, with over 2000 courses delivered through more than 300 venues across Lancashire. We engage over 10,000 learners, which makes us one of the UK’s largest Adult Community Learning Providers

The Exciting Role 

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Reprographics Assistant to provide a professional and responsive print service to customers in a fast paced and dynamic environment.


The successful candidate will be primarily based at Lancashire Adult Learning but may be required to travel across sites.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide a professional and responsive print service to customers in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Handle requests from staff and students face to face, by phone and email
  • Provide information to internal customers relating to their print orders, and the College’s print service
  • Operate print production equipment; ensuring quality and speed of output
  • Operate print finishing equipment (guillotine, folding and binding machines)
  • Move and store heavy bulk paper supplies
  • Comply and promote the College’s policies, including Financial Regulations
  • Refill printers as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSE grade C (or equivalent), including Maths and English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines
