The Exciting Role 

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Officer to coordinate and provide project, administrative and logistical support to the Click Project in line with contract requirements, reporting deadlines and agreed delivery plans. 

About Click Skills for Life

Click Skills for Life is a Lancashire County Council funded programme designed to help adults develop the digital confidence and essential digital skills needed to participate fully in modern life. Working through trusted community venues, local partnerships and learner-centred provision, the programme supports adults to access online services, improve employability, increase independence and progress into further learning, training and employment opportunities.

The programme will be delivered across Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Ribble Valley and Rossendale, working through trusted community venues and in partnership with local organisations and referral services.

Working as part of the Project Team, you will support learner engagement and progression, maintain accurate records, coordinate delivery arrangements and build effective working relationships with colleagues, partners and referral organisations. 

The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Lancashire Adult Learning site but will be required to travel across identified delivery locations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  •  Coordinate and provide project, administrative and logistical support to the Click project. 
  •  Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, delivery partners, referral organisations and other stakeholders. 
  •  Act as a first point of contact for Click enquiries, providing clear information and guidance. 
  •  Support learner engagement, referral, onboarding and progression activity. 
  •  Coordinate delivery arrangements, including venues, resources, communications and learner-facing activity. 
  •  Maintain accurate, timely and complete participant, partner and project records. 
  •  Update and monitor local management information and contribute to data checks and reports. 
  •   Monitor agreed actions, milestones and deadlines, escalating emerging risks, gaps or delays. 
  •   Provide general business support, including arranging meetings, completing purchase orders, booking venues and maintaining project documentation. 

What We Are Looking For:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above, together with evidence of appropriate digital competence. 
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area, or appropriate professional qualification. 
  • Experience of organising and providing project, programme or administrative support. 
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service and responding effectively to enquiries. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. 
  • Exceptional organisational skills and excellent communication skills. 
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, learners and external partners. 
  • Full driving licence with access to own vehicle and the ability to travel across Lancashire, as required.
