Part of East Lancashire Learning Group, Lancashire Adult Learning (LAL) provide learning opportunities for all adults across the region. LAL currently offers an extensive range of subjects to learners, with over 2000 courses delivered through more than 300 venues across Lancashire. We engage over 10,000 learners, which makes us one of the UK’s largest Adult Community Learning Providers

The Exciting Role

Looking for a marketing role where your ideas can make a real difference?

We're seeking a results-driven, commercially minded and highly-organised Marketing Executive to help drive the growth of Lancashire Adult Learning and the East Lancashire University Centre, two of the ELLG's key growth areas.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on variety; enjoys a challenge and loves turning ideas into measurable results. We're looking for a proactive marketer who can spot opportunities, build strong relationships and deliver campaigns that attract, engage and convert learners, while supporting wider organisational growth and stakeholder engagement.

You'll work across learner recruitment, campaign delivery, content creation and stakeholder engagement, helping to raise the profile of both brands and support ambitious growth plans. Unlike many education marketing roles, this position goes beyond learner recruitment. You'll help strengthen relationships with employers, partners, community organisations and key stakeholders, ensuring our provision reaches and engages the audiences who can benefit most.

Whether you're developing a targeted digital campaign, creating compelling communications, launching new courses, identifying new opportunities for growth or working alongside external partners, you'll play a vital role in connecting people with life-changing opportunities while contributing to the wider success of two ambitious and expanding brands.

What You'll Bring:

  • Creativity, enthusiasm and plenty of fresh ideas.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence in building productive relationships with a wide range of internal and external audiences.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities that drive growth, engagement and participation.
  • Experience of using insight, data and evaluation to measure success and continually improve performance.
  • A proactive approach and a passion for finding new opportunities and delivering results.
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on learners, communities and organisational success.
  • The drive to work towards ambitious targets and demonstrate the impact of marketing activity.

You'll be part of an ambitious, forward-thinking marketing team, Gold Medal winners in the Large Team of the Year category at the prestigious FE First Awards 2026. This is a chance to influence campaigns, shape engagement activity, work with diverse audiences and see the tangible impact of your work every day.

If you're full of ideas, commercially aware, love building relationships and want a role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at Lancashire Adult Learning but will be required to travel across sites.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support the Head of Marketing and Comms in the development and delivery of impactful marketing activity and collateral.
  • Plan, execute, track and measure targeted and creative multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Support the management of online communication channels, including social media and websites, ensuring all content is accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure creative thinking for all campaigns and projects, identifying key target audiences and defining goals, conducting market research to analyse trends and identifying opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for the production of marketing collateral, including leaflets, posters, podcasts, videos etc.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Degree Level Qualification in a relevant field.
  • CIM or CIPR qualification.
  • A proven track record of creating/influencing innovative and creative multichannel marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record of working with KPIs to analyse and measure effectiveness of activity and using findings to inform future activity.
  • A proven track record of project management capability, keeping yourself on track and accountable.
  • Experience developing, measuring and reporting on KPIs.
  • Experience of building effective relationships and working as part of a team.

What We Offer in Return:

  • Access to a workplace pension scheme – with generous employer contributions
  • Generous annual leave allowance including a two-week closure over the Christmas period
  • Enhanced occupational sick pay scheme and access to family friendly policies and benefits
  • A range of health and wellbeing benefits and support
  • Staff recognition scheme, including long service awards
  • Free on-site parking on all College sites
