Salary: Up to £23,006.03 (FTE £26,078.33) per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37 per week,
Working Weeks: 40 weeks per year (Term Time Only)

The Exciting Role

We’re looking for an ALS Funding & Compliance Officer to join our dedicated Additional Learning Support team and ensure the college delivers timely, accurate and fully compliant learning support funding claims. This is your chance to be part of a high-impact support team that drives inclusive education and transforms lives.
What You Will Be Doing:
As ALS Funding and Compliance Office, you will:
• Process and monitor funding claims for High Needs, adult learners and apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with DfE and local authority funding rules.
• Maintain accurate funding records and documentation.
• Collect and manage audit-ready evidence for all claims.
• Conduct quality checks on support records and resolve issues.
• Input and report on ALS data; liaise with MIS for reconciliation.
• Provide guidance to staff on funding processes and evidence.
• Support administrative tasks such as organising meetings, managing inboxes and coordinating reviews.
What We Are Looking For:
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Minimum Level 3 qualification and GCSEs (Maths & English at Grade C/4+)
• Experience in education or learner support administration
• Knowledge of SEND, EHCPs, ALS and funding compliance
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook)
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
