The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Business to join their Business Team on Part Time Hourly Paid basis.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, focused on student progress and supporting students into high quality educational and work-based destinations.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at our Nelson site but may be required to travel across sites.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Teach L2, L3 and T Level Business delivering effective learning for students
• Be up to date, plan and prepare and high quality teaching as required by your Line Manager
• Develop and share resources for the course/subject including maintaining effective links across College for resources
• To act as a personal tutor for a group across their programme as a whole
• Maintain comprehensive, up to date, student/course/subject records and provide information, as requested
What We Are Looking For:
• A degree in a relevant subject area or appropriate professional qualification
• A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
• A higher degree or advanced qualification (desirable)
• Experience of working within the business industry (desirable)
• Successful teaching experience in a relevant subject area
• Knowledge of and proven ability to deliver the curriculum successfully
• Demonstrate a student centred approach to teaching and learning
